Privacy

When you join the early-access list on our home page, we store:

• the email address you enter;
• the date and time you joined;
• a general label for where you came from — Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, direct, or unknown — based on the link you used to reach the site, if that link included one.

We don't ask for your name or anything else. If you join more than once with the same address, it's kept once.

We use your email address only to contact you about FirstTrail early access. We use the source label to understand which places people hear about FirstTrail from.

The early-access list is stored in a database hosted by Supabase. The list isn't publicly readable: the website can add an address to it but can't read the list back. Only the FirstTrail team can view it.

We do not sell the information you submit, and we don't share it with advertisers.

• FirstTrail doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't set cookies for visitors who aren't signed in.
• The Guided Demo uses example data. It works without an account, and nothing you do in it is sent to us.
• Your browser may keep a small amount of FirstTrail app state in its own local storage on your device. It isn't sent to us unless you're signed in.
• The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
• Like any website, the servers that deliver FirstTrail receive basic technical details, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to send you the page.

FirstTrail accounts aren't open to the public yet. For people who already have one:

• Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth using your email address and password. The site stores your sign-in session in cookies so you stay signed in.
• Your answers, progress, and conversations with the FirstTrail coach are saved to your account in Supabase, with a copy kept in your browser's local storage.
• When you use FirstTrail's AI features, what you type and relevant details from your FirstTrail progress are sent to OpenAI to generate a response.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We don't receive or store your full card number.

To have your email removed from the early-access list, or to ask a question about your information, email us at firsttrailco@gmail.com. If you have an account, you can also ask us to delete your account and the FirstTrail data saved with it.

Please send your request from the email address you want removed, so we can match it to the right record.
